The International Symposium on Gen AI and Cultural Production brings together leading practitioners, researchers, writers, filmmakers, producers, platform professionals, and creative technologists to examine how generative AI is reshaping cultural production.
The symposium focuses on the rapidly changing relationship between GenAI, creative labour, authorship, production practices, industry structures, rights, and cultural value. Across two days of keynote conversations, panels, and workshops, participants will explore how generative technologies are being adopted across film, television, streaming, digital media, and emerging screen formats, while also considering their implications for writers, filmmakers, producers, audiences, and creative institutions.
